Windows 7 Issue with 20D

Postby Josh Gahagan on Tue Nov 03, 2009 5:36 pm

I just tried downloading some images from my Canon 20D onto my new Windows 7 HP laptop using Downloader Pro and I got this PC issue message:

EOS 20D is not compatible with this version of Windows.

Because this device isn't compatible with this version of Windows, and there are no solutions available for this problem, we recommend that you find another device on the following website:

Any idea what this means and how to fix it?

Could be the driver is not available in Windows 7, assume you are connecting the camera direct to the computer?? If you are a card reader would solve the problem I think.

Don't hook the camera to the computer. Get a cheap card reader and stick the card into the card reader and download them.
